Corsica

There were two (heavy) industrial activities in Corsica, an Asbestos plant in the north of the island and three plants of gallic acid made with sweet chestnuts trees. The construction of the asbestos plant began in 1948. The plant is known as "The White Hell" because he killed numerous workers many years after it stopped its activity in 1965.
